The Finder Lesson

Practice through photography of finding common design elements in the view finder of the camera. We explore our environment—on campus, at home, or in the city—to find and capture real-world examples of pattern, texture, scale, rhythm, and symmetry using our phone camera. Then, we collaboratively edit, organize, and present our strongest black-and-white images to the class for critique and discussion.
